I have a little thing for Musigny... this one was lovely, bright and full of energy. — 10 years ago

This bottle was stunning! The acid still so fresh - blind tasted was pinned as burgundy. A testament to the incredible talents of Bob Sessions in his tenure at Hanzell - showing what is truly possible from Chardonnay in Sonoma. Balancing before "balance" was a necessary descriptor / divider. This wine had mineral, acid, and weight all in harmony. And remarkable youth. Thank you Bob. — 10 years ago
2010. Promising for younger vintage - bright, fresh strawberry, classic CM profile. Fourrier never seems to disappoint, even in the "little" bottles like this one. — 10 years ago

Blind, this tasted more like older left bank Bordeaux than CA Zin... CM's zins from the 70's and 80's seem to age (and taste) more like Cabernet Sauvignon from the same period. Really impressive! — 10 years ago
Lalou. She is epic, as are her wines. This one was maybe a little advanced in the aging for 15yo, but the acid and profile were beautiful. — 10 years ago
