Viña William Fèvre
Espino Chardonnay
Earthy, herbaceous aromas of Brown, river mud and clay, cattails, plantain, fungus and peach, with matchsticks and ripe grapefruit. Medium-creamy texture sharpens into bright lemon citrus and Granny Smith morphing into crabapples. Green table grapes, sage, peppercorn, grapefruit and orchid textures shoot to clean river and trout bones. Racy, with twists and turns, a real ride down the rapids #chardonnay #chard #espino #chile #williamfèvre #mountainwine #maipoandes #maipo #SanJuandePirque #pirque

Mar 27th, 2017Really nice balance of new and old. Great lemon flavor with a creaminess to it. Almost tastes of a still champagne. Nice.

Mar 22nd, 2017Our second chard that hasn't been buried in oak, I chose this based on the fact that I figured William Fevre would do justice to Chilean chardonnay grapes...and I was right. If ypu close your eyes this might be pegged as a Premier Cru burgundy. Excellent balance in terms of fruit and acidity, this is probably the best white we've had in Chile.
