Wow, hela paletten av doft och smak som förväntas, men intensivare och längre än väntat. Ett stort vin.

Roasted nuts, mission figs, exotic spices

Nose of maple syrup and pancakes with nuttiness and salinity.

Lovely wine. Rich and balanced. Nice depth. Longer finish than others.

Same as Solera 1822, but no PX added. Intensely umami

Nutty, salty, sweet, deep and complex as anything. Finish lasts for a mile. Take one sip an hour so as not to interrupt. Stunning.

Dry, caramel, nuttiness, brown sugar. Paired perfectly with lamb meatballs and cauliflower au gratin.

Intense maple sugars lead to burnt toffee/caramel. Dry, and surprisingly bright. Not a heavy mouthfeel for an olorosso, despite how much depth of flavour is present.

Burnt caramel, maple syrup, green apple, fried pecans, saline, eucalyptus, dry tobacco. Full bodied, oily texture, good acid, smooth velvet tannins. Long smoky, nutty finish.

I love sherry. That being said this was one of the most complex wines I've ever tasted.
