Inaugural Release of this Grand Cru from old vines leased from the Convent of Ribeauville that formerly went into Trimbach’s GC Osterberg
The nose dominated by flint out of the gate but revealing marzipan, honeysuckle, and mango after a few hours ~ mango purée, peach nectar, rainbow sherbet, lime and pineapple hard candy coat the palate which finishes dry by way of lanolin, crushed minerals and an almost white pepper-ness
Torn between appreciating the dry finish yet craving more acidity...

Wow. Drinking 2011 in 2017. Floral bomb with cherry grenadine like notes on the nose. Taste is bone dry with complexity out the rack. This wine is perfect.
