This was excellent—great balance of richness and acidity. Tremendous purity. Santa Cruz Mountains for the win once again

2014 & 2015 The 14 by a nose.

Tight as hell on the first day, but on day two it blossoms into a puligny-like lemon and pine sap crushed stone river of pith and purity. Killer.

12.3% and ripping!

So bright and clean without giving up a bit of richness. A special bottle! Thanks for coming down the hill to pour @Marshal White!

This is really very good and has great complexity on the nose. Why does it flee the palate prematurely?

The complex citrus notes of this wine are stunning. Wonderful texture, minerailty and focused finish with serious length. Aromatics are a bit muted at this point, but the solid structure of this wine lets you know one day it'll release beautiful perfume. Cellar, cellar, cellar.

Don't know another Cali chard that has the degree of Burgundian-ness that this guy has. Oak is present but just enough for texture and complexity. Mineral and bright bright fruits....oh and acid. A ton of stuff you don't find in Napa/Carneros. Fuckin great wine! !!

Didn't evolve for me, but could tell it was in there somewhere.

I know it's special but just too much acid for me.
