The 2018 Chardonnay Puerta Del Mar is bright and finely sculpted. Lemon oil, white flowers, mint, and a range of saline-infused overtones all grace the 2018. Weightless and yet full of flavor, the 2018 is positively stellar. It is yet another fabulous white in this range of new releases from Ojai and a terrific example of the far western edge of Santa Barbara County that is outside of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation. Love pouring this next to Burgundies. It’s definitely California-fresh and energetic, but there’s a salinity, structure and nuance that put it into a higher class. Exceptional.

13' Just another can't miss Ojai! Please let it open up in the glass for 30 minutes. I wasn't expecting this much oak on the palate ,for recently visited Ojai chards. White peach, lightly salted buttered popcorn, wet stone, The acidity is beautifully structured through the wine. I don't think it's as balanced as the Solomon Hills 13'(just different) … amazing for a $35 wine. I truly believe this winery ,for the money ,is one of the top 10 in all of California!
