Delightful. Great, light, flavorful Pinot - drinking really well. Paired w/ tasty toasted goat cheese crostini + light spinach salad w/ balsamic/mustard. I think Ojai pinots are a treat & great value. — 5 years ago
The V.2023 Brick Barn Viognier is actually the very first from this vineyard, located in the west of Buellton, outside Santa Rita Hills AVA in Santa Barbara County, California.
Aromatic enough to open up your olfactory senses with some fresh cantaloupe, honeysuckle, and ripe white peach. The palate opens with a burst of ripen lychee, punchy lime and some caramelized tasted. Thanks to the natural MLF and aged in its lees for 7+ months, the mouthfeel has some roundness, complexity and tension on the very end of the finish, but remains deliciously intense making it a medium+ body with some hints of salinity and a subtle touch of sliced ginger. Simply delicious, cheers!

Beautiful bouquet of candied fruit, pepper, cardamom and tar. Cherry and raspberry preserves, soft velvety mouth feel and a long finish. Love this wine! 😁 — 5 years ago

Very nice Pinot. Probably the best I have tasted from Santa Barbara. Bright and layered red fruit. Tastes like Burgundy! — 5 years ago

2023 vintage. Light-medium/medium body. Fairly aromatic with oodles of red berries and cracked black pepper at the onset. The cracked black pepper gave way rather quickly to white pepper and white sage. The raspberry, strawberry, cranberry and boysenberry jam kept on rocking. After one hour open, a slightly astringent but pleasant, Mormon Tea plant + black tea influence + a little pomegranate tartness buttressed by some clove notes. Really really pretty like the previous vintage (10.30.24-9.0) but with much more stuffing. The 2021 effort (6.21.23-9.5) was fab as well but bigger, earthy smoky, heavier and without the delicate intricacies of this 2023 vintage. This is currently drinking like it has 5-7 years of age under the belt. 1.6.26. — 4 hours ago
