2010! Probably buried in the basement the entire time. I was expecting a dead bottle. I am actually glad I didn’t open it in 2013. This bottle has plenty of life today and surely can go for a longer nap. Peak? Maybe. Cheers!

But over the top for my taste. Intense red currant compote and port-like concentration. Peppered venison and a sweet/savory back and forth through the moderate finish. Surprisingly modest alcohol for such a bold wine.
