Wine pours a dark maroon. Wonderful flavors of cherry pie, vanilla, and other berries and plum. Fairly acidic, moderate tannins and an excellent vegetable finish. The wine was a perfect complement to our prime rib and steak dinner the first night of our Christmas 2023 cruise. A definite rebuy-a good value in the premium Napa wines.

This is the 2019 The Hess Collection Allomi Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Sirah, 5% Malbec, 4% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot.
On the nose there is black cherry, blackberry, black currant, chocolate, spice, nlack pepper and earth.
On the palate is black cherry, blackberry, raspberry, black currant, chocolate, pepper, spice, some oak and earth.
This wine is full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel medium + acidity and medium to medium +fine tannins that leaves you with a medium to long dark fruit graphite finish. Enjoy your weekend and please be safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷
