Beautiful blend! Deep ruby color and lovely textures, with a mouthful of berries 👌🏼

Sipping Fine Wine

The estate of Sette Ponti lies in the heart of the Chianti zone, 15 miles NW of the city of Arezzo past village of San Giustino Valdarno. A blend of 90% Sangiovese & 10% Merlot, aged in French Allier barriques. Deep Ruby with red fruit aromas and earthy floral spice. On the palate blackberry and cherry flavors with earthy spice, savory. Fine grainy tannins, nice balance long finish ending with cedar, tobacco and earthy mineral tones.

Nice super tuscan, not real complex, bright red cherry fruit..surprisingly more on ripe/jammy side, great acid, med tannin....great everyday super tuscan and easy to enjoy.

Too much slathered oak for me, also lacking balance.

violets, vanilla, currants & cranberry ~ berry flavors carry over ripe and juicy with some dusty tannins

Color : Red
Wine estate : Tenuta Sette Ponti
Designation : Toscana
Name : Crognolo
Country : Italy
Vivino : 4/5
Note : I love to open it because I know it will be delicious! With its purple robe, a nose of plums, woody. In the mouth, the tannins are deep and remains on flavors of jams of fruits of wood, plums and chocolate.
----------
J’adore l’ouvrir car je sais que ça sera délicieux ! Avec sa robe violet, un nez de prunes, boisé. En bouche, les tanins sont profonds et reste sur des saveurs de confitures de fruits de bois, prunes et chocolaté.

Always pleasant to taste. Bottle opened 2h30 before the tast. A nose of plums, a flavor in the mouth of red fruits. Tuscan tannins as we love. A beautiful length. Tasted with a Rabbit with mustard and fresh tagliatelle, gorgeous!

Typical super Tuscan. A heavy wine that took a bit of effort to finish the bottle between 2 people.
