Some pretty aromatics of cherry, sweet spice and tomato, with tart cherry on the palate. However, palate feels a bit edgy and young, with primary notes of rusty earth, almost a bit metallic. Firm tannin, good persistence. Enjoyable but not entirely resolved.

Nose and palate are worlds apart with the nose being quite closed any showing plum and nuts. The palate however it's where it's at with tart red fruit, leather, tobacco, slightly herbal and that textbook sang tannin

From the Sventoni/della Seta families estate with some 200 years of winemaking history; this Nobile is clear purplish ruby; dark fruits, some dried, coffee, nuts, salty herbs and some ’charkuts’; medium-everything for structural components and alcohol but mouthfilling and long on the finish. Not very complex but well made and good with our Beemster, Delice, and dried iberico filé.

Bought as part of my son's birth year cellar. Initial shy. Reserved fruit. Gains color with air, always a good sign for a young wine, in my opinion. On day two/three, shows more savory cherry fruit and more structure than I initially recognized. This may improve in the Cellar better than I expected.

Dark cherry, smoke and tobacco on the nose. The dark cherry jumped out on the palate with some serious tannins. Needs another 5 years of bottle age to enjoy.
