2013 vintage. Sadly served to us cold, but with the wait to warm. Rich Cherry, current, blackberry. Perhaps a touch of cinnamon in the finish. And lemon verbena in the bouquet. Full bodied but more subtle than the conventional kick of California Merlot.

Mostly Merlot with Cab Franc from Tuscany.....who wouldn’t like that?
Plum, cherry and dark chocolate notes on the nose.
There is an elegance here with firm tannins, blackberry, ripe currants, tar and olives. It has a bitter finish but not in a bad way.
I want to grill lamb and drink this wine.

Lovely medium-bodied super Tuscan tonight. Plenty of ripe red fruit, black currants - easy drinking my friends. Stay safe
