2014 vintage. Noticeable brett on the nose, medium plus tannins that dominate the sour red fruit palate. Overall somewhat flat, not dynamic profile and finish

Brilliant in stealing price!. We have read fruit game (raspberry, red cherry and red plum) with oak (cedar and smoke) & leather/meaty character. In addition we get some prune and savory texture in mouth. Medium(+) bodied with long finish, medium(+) acidity and medium tannins. Mniam! Cheers

Not bad. Dry... But tasted a bit young! Take time to make it open up!

Light Ruby in color with a red rim and light intensity.

Nice nose of red fruits, cherries, strawberries, cloves, earth, leather, green vegetables, herbs, wet leaves, wood and pepper.

Light to medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

On the palate, strawberries, raspberries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, earth, leather, cherries, spices, peppercorn and earth.

Medium finish with soft tannins and black pepper.

A Good food wine but not by itself. Unbalanced and earthy. Drinkable, but not very enjoyable. I usually like Chianti Classico at this price range, but this wasn't my cup of tea.

A blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Merlot .

I paired it with a dish of Baked ziti.

13.5% alcohol by volume.
