Medium Ruby color with fragrant berry fruit, spice and earthy floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and cedar with notes of pepper, tangy mouthfeel. Fine tannins, long savory finish ending with a mushroom, citrus and earthy mineral character. Nice!

Classic tannins. Balanced. Was open a couple of hours before we jumped in so was ready to go.

A Brunello I would have expected a little more expressive
Still pretty tight
Maybe it would have needed more breathing or in larger decanter
On the palate though it had good length and a quite chewy tannin still
Definitely enjoyable, but we could have prepared it better I reckon 😬🤫

Vintage 2012 - Meeting my studyfriend Felix 34 years after graduation, that calls for a fine wine - pretty high acidity, beautiful red fruit, good balance, not too complex as we want to talk about our lives, but still interesting. We partnered it with Bavette. - At restaurant De Plantage in Amsterdam.

Everything I would want from a Brunelo Espresso, mushrooms, Santa Rosa plums, some grandmother‘s kitchen. Freshness and ripeness and lightness at the same time. Yes Sir, world class Sangiovese. Worth the price and the patience. Bravo!!

Medium Ruby with fragrant berry fruit, spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and cedar spice with notes of pepper, tangy mineral feel. Fine but grippy tannins, medium+ savory finish ending with a mushroom, citrus and mineral character. Nice!
