A value-packed super-Tuscan made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Merlot and Petite Verdot. Elegant medium tannins and loads of blackberry, black cherry and red cherry, plum, cassis, violet and Mediterranean scrub brush. Full bodied but very agile on the palate - delicious and ready now though it will also last another 5 years.

Simple ripe red and black fruit. Almost no secondary or tertiary aromas or flavors. Acidity seems unbalanced, seems high because it lacks the body and the fruit to balance it. #bolgheri #cabernet #cabernetsauvignon

Another supermarket winner! I’m thinking of becoming an Esselunga loyalist.

Youthful, dark purple clear color; cab-dominated nose; very fruit-forward and kind of disjointed. Overpriced.

This wine has the weirdest nose…it's like a salty sea breeze. Mild jammy flavors, hint of tar, slight sweetness and mild tannins. Just a touch of chalk on the finish. 2011.

Delicious in a focused, balanced package. I'd give this 2013 a few years. Had to try it at €12 in Lucca, which = great value.

Nicely balanced and deep. Licorice on the finish with smart tannins. A little loopy throughout... likely thanks to the Syrah content. Nice little super tuscan!
