Beautiful bottle. This one had more typical Syrah notes and a nice balance and finish. Perfect with some beautiful short ribs.

08' Tensley "OGT" Syrah. After Paul's review of this wine I had to pull out my magnum(only bottled in magnums) and give it a swirl. Just to reiterate what Paul T said earlier today. It was sourced from three different vineyards.
A beautiful full-bodied (1st 90 min 📉) Syrah out of Santa Barbara. One hour decanting. The palate- Blackberry, cranberry, black raspberry liqueur. A healthy dash of spices. Sweet tannins & a nice finish. I'm guessing mostly neutral barrels. Drink them if you have them! ... @Paul T Edit- It's dying after 3 hours.

[En Magnum] Last week we had a much younger version of the other Tensley magnum blend, the BMT, which has some Grenache (25%) in the blend, whereas this is all Syrah. Richness and insanely forward and still very youthful fruit, very good depth, long, lingering finish, my only nit is it’s also 15.0% ABV, this should last for many years to come!!
