Restrained fruit with a meaty edge and leathery tannins. Sturdy table wine; better the next day. Good shawarma/merguez wine.

Prefer these softer, less alcoholic monastrells from Alicante. Went seamlessly w grilled lamb. Tintus imports ( in Fla)

Dark red with jammy red fruit aromas. On the palate cheery and red plum flavors and typical spice from a Mourvèdre. Medium in body the wine has fine tannins, good balance with acidity and finishes with spice notes. Nice value. Easy drinking.

Alongside lamb, it is enhanced with some savory herbal notes and dried floral qualities. Lean.

Nice buy for the $$. Grapey and dry with a tobacco note on the earthy finish.

Stewed plums, droopy roses, white pepper, dried blood, hot iron, and a very pleasing set of fonts on the label. Great value. 🥀🥓
