I ask for a sweet wine not from Jerez (Sherry) and she gives me a taste and says do you want a full glass? To this wine I say F*#& yes! Super acidity makes this drinkable as heck! Passion fruit, papaya, beeswax, honeysuckle and bitter orange notes on the nose and palate. Nice mouthfeel, with body yet super smooth. Paired with chocolate mousse and passion fruit ice cream, I am feeling extremely guilty and already planning my run for tomorrow morning! — 16 days ago

Color is hazy, deep purple. The nose exhibits baked, dried, and stewed black fruit with some brett. On the plate the dark fruit shifts slightly sharper. High alcohol, moderate plus tannins and acid, with a round to lean texture. High alcohol and a long finish. A muscular wine that needs a protein pairing. Best to decant this vintage. — 5 days ago

I think this one maybe needs to grow on me, but my initial thoughts was that the taste was too sharp. After letting it sit for a few minutes, it was better, but definitely not a favorite.
