Juicy Pinot, with dark cherries, ripe cranberries and smoky vanilla. Classic Pinot funk, with new world juice.

A Pernod Ricard brand. Marlborough. Light ruby-orange colour. Clean fruity nose with some Pinot Noir typicity but very simple. Soft and smooth Gamay-like texture. Easy-drinking and well-made if unexciting. Abv. 14 %. About 11 euro.

Dark ruby in color and light watery in viscosity; deep PN nose of red fruits, strawberries and plums and some tropical fruit almost hiding behind the light oak; on the palate the alcohol seems higher than the listed 13% possibly due to the high acidity and robust flavour, tannins are soft and finish is long.
