Tough to wrap my head around. Essentially...it has the all flavor of a Sicilian red blend, but none of the structure. It’s just all out of balance. But, for the price ($8)...you can’t really complain — 10 months ago
Solid CA Sauv Blanc. Ripe green apple, lemon custard, and a kiss of grapefruit. Great for a hot day — a year ago
It honestly reminded me of a 30 or 40 yr aged Bordeaux. The structure leaned on its acid and alcohol, while any trace of tannin has transformed into velvet. The bouquet and flavor profile reminds me more of a warm, leathery tawny port than it does a new world Syrah — a year ago
What's not to like?
Bin cherry, ripe raspberries, mocha and just a kiss of roasted fennel! — a year ago
It's hard to beat great Caa fruit with an Old World approach. Solid structure props up the heaps of black currant, savory notes, and warm oak spices. — a year ago
