It honestly reminded me of a 30 or 40 yr aged Bordeaux. The structure leaned on its acid and alcohol, while any trace of tannin has transformed into velvet. The bouquet and flavor profile reminds me more of a warm, leathery tawny port than it does a new world Syrah — 3 years ago
