Solid CA Sauv Blanc. Ripe green apple, lemon custard, and a kiss of grapefruit. Great for a hot day — 7 years ago
Such a great lil wine. Ripe cherries, pops of raspberry, followed by waves of tobacco and sweet-wood smoke. Bright acidity, backed by just the right amount of structure. — 7 years ago
It honestly reminded me of a 30 or 40 yr aged Bordeaux. The structure leaned on its acid and alcohol, while any trace of tannin has transformed into velvet. The bouquet and flavor profile reminds me more of a warm, leathery tawny port than it does a new world Syrah — 7 years ago
Sneaky ripe for an Hermitage. A lot of fruit right out of the gate, but as it warms/breathes...The classic tar, meat and leather starts to emerge. What a wine — 7 years ago
What's not to like?
Bin cherry, ripe raspberries, mocha and just a kiss of roasted fennel! — 8 years ago

It's hard to beat great Caa fruit with an Old World approach. Solid structure props up the heaps of black currant, savory notes, and warm oak spices. — 7 years ago
No way you can find this nutty/peachy/melony complexity at $14 anywhere else. What a wine! — 7 years ago
::sigh:: Apparently even Nebbiolo can taste like cheap wine.
It has its nice qualities...cherries, roses and a touch of dried herb. But it just doesn't follow through — 8 years ago

Tough to wrap my head around. Essentially...it has the all flavor of a Sicilian red blend, but none of the structure. It’s just all out of balance. But, for the price ($8)...you can’t really complain — 7 years ago
