Not too much bell pepper on this one. Gooseberry, round, good length.

It honestly reminded me of a 30 or 40 yr aged Bordeaux. The structure leaned on its acid and alcohol, while any trace of tannin has transformed into velvet. The bouquet and flavor profile reminds me more of a warm, leathery tawny port than it does a new world Syrah

I don't ever remember being disappointed by a bottle from this house and I have logged many vintages by now.

Bright acidity. Smokey and citrucy and grassy on the nose. Creamy and green, lean palate. Tight but salty finish. Terroir driven
