Herbaceous and farmy with sulfuric undertones on the nose. An interesting sauv to come out of Marlborough, in light of the late grassiness in the nose characteristics that evolves into green bell pepper. Lime hits the palate back in the upper throat. Strikingly clean crisp tart yet creamy foamy oceanic wave of lime. Saltiness akin to margaritas yet I'm suddenly craving yellowtail sashimi after a day of surfing, even though I don't surf! Lengthy and intense, this is a foody's sushi wine on a beach day! — 9 days ago
Big grapefruit aromas. Pale straw some grassy citrus notes with floral mineral scents. On the palate peach, tangy lemon zest and apple/grapefruit flavors with gentle acidity. Medium+ finish ending with bright citrus character. Nice value. — 8 days ago
Tart appley yet petrolic nose. Smells like dancing through a rainy granny apple orchard on a crisp fall morning! Refreshing lemon delight! Beautiful forward astringency and minerality that finishes delicately and softly floral, a surprisingly whispered closure for such bright opener. Clean with delightful complexity.
Pairs beautifully with Indian cuisine... or with turkey dinner! — 10 days ago
Grapefruit, lemon, very citrus nose. Unidimensional but intense and precise: wow! The palate is pretty sauvignon classic with a sheer acidity and a lemony layer on the sides, soft grip and a long fresh finish. It doesn't taste like a Loire sauvignon but I like its straight forward simplicity. Very good — 10 days ago
Pale lemon colour in the glass. Evidence of legs.
Clean on the nose with notes of medium(+) intensity. Primary aromas:
1. green fruit: gooseberry;
2. citrus fruit: grapefruit, lemon;
3. tropical fruit: mango, passion fruit;
Secondary aromas of yeast, no tertiary aromas.
At a developing stage.
On the palate it is dry with pronounced flavour intensity. High acidity, medium alcohol, medium(+) body, long finish.
Well balanced, very complex. Outstanding wine. Drink it now, not suitable for further ageing. — 7 days ago
Gorgeous rosey peach hue. Honeyed peaches and strawberry over vanilla pudding entice the nose at first swirl. Tart strawberries and watermelon transition to flavors of fresh squeezed lemons in a bone dry finish. Crisp and refreshing and welcoming the catch of the day. Yes! NOT frozay rozay brunch juice. — 9 days ago
Heavily oaked nosed with strawberries and cherries, with afternotes of forest leaves. I'd suddenly love to have cherried s'mores by the summer fire! Incredible light and clarity. Palate in coordinance with bouquet. Earthed in a way unexpected for the region. Delicious and earthed to compete with Willamette. Long long finish with high acidity and striking abundance. Makes me want to dance in the rain. — 12 days ago
