Color of slightly deeper egg white with a touch of green hue. Nose of mineral, honey, green apple, and a bit gasoline. I would mistake her for Riesling. Taste is light with salty mineral and honey note, some acidity from citrus, quite clean and pleasant. Aftertaste of similar notes from taste with quite long grapefruit like acidity and zest, and a bit warmth. She is above average. — a day ago
Extremely tart sauce blanc, grapefruit and passion fruit notes. Would be best drinking on its own.

New Zealand 🇳🇿 is well known for its distinctive Sauvignon Blanc’s with their clean crisp refreshing mouth feel and unique citrus signature. This wine in my opinion is one of the best. Citrus and lemon grass flavor for sure blended with tropical fruits yet not over powering making it the perfect sip on a snowy day by the fireplace. Cheers 🍷 — 17 days ago
Color is very light with bubbly hew of yellow. Nose of sweet lychee, honey, flowering note and a touch of spice. Taste is vivid acidity, lychee and green apple, tinkling, a touch of mineral, and just a bit too watery. Aftertaste has some more lychee note and warmth in the throat. Too light or she will be quite unique. — 22 days ago
V13. Very good and very unique. Think NZ SB, grapefruit zest nose. Gooseberry, lemon grass, lime. Now add toasty vanilla to the nose and finish. Nicely done. — a day ago
Pure and Elegant Expression.
Grown in the cool Awatere Valley, Clean, Crisp, hints of Citrus and Tropical flavors.
Sustainably grown in 3 estates beneath the peak of Mt. Tappy, next to ‘the crossing’ where settlers have traversed the fast flow of the Awarere River.

My brother-in-law is our bitch tonight!
Turkey curry in flight. We kicked off the evening with a great SB from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Stunning visual presentation. Nose is dominated by grapefruit and limes. Palate displays consistency with the nose, along with some nice, chalky minerality. It’s matured in oak, but the wood treatment is almost imperceptible, given that the percentage of new oak used doesn’t hit double-digits. Lovely citrus and stone fruits on the mid-palate. Unusual for a SB from Cloudy, it displays a roundness, with restrained acidity. I’m thinking this is due to its age. I have half a case of these, and I’m not going to cellar them for too long. This is at its apex now. Need to see more of this on the Delectable feed.
