Reserva Bairrada Tinto Baga

Dinner party. Very busy cooking. No formal notes. Really nice. Fruit, crushed rock, acids, tannins. Worked incredibly well with pasta with a rich meat sauce.

Herbatious and full of dark fruit with soft tannins. Oaky and dry. Bold flavor with hints of cherry. Could benefit from aging. Prefer to pair with food.

Very dark purple color, this is SO youthful that I think even @Tom Casagrande would agree it might need another 5-10 years (from now) aging, big, rich, not an after-dinner sipping wine on a 90 degree day, shame on me!!

Rich, ripe, red fruits and black fruits, creamy palate impression from I’d guess used oak, shows some age, good balance, long, lingering finish, very nice!

Very dark rubi robe, nose of blackcurrant, tobacco, licorice and flowers. Very elegant and complex in the mouth. Good now but really no rush, top stuff.

A touch of Brett. Not enough to make me want to dump it down the drain, but enough to bury anything unique about this wine.
