Deep crimson with a bluish tinge. Medium to full bodied - palate of cherries, liquorice and spice finishing with fine sandy tannins. I love Shiraz from the Grampians district - home to one of my favourites - Mt. Langhi Ghiran. The first of 2 bottles - next in 2030.

Lovely wine. Still good for another decade. Needs a really good decant. Powerful but really well balanced on the palate.

A little early to be drinking this at 8 years with projected drinking windows going up to another 20 years. I love Grampians Shiraz - this is more dried black Cherry than my favourite, Mt Langhi Ghiran - the latter more pepper/spice and Northern Rhone in style. Just a personal preference.

Nice beefy Shiraz, a bit heavy for my taste, but good acid, spice and fruit leather.

Still buzzing with life from fine integrated tannins and bright fresh qcidity. Red fruit mixed with darker bramble Fruit. Fine boned, power without weight. Long. And rather good.
