Pale hazy amber coloured with aromas of orange peel, preserved lemon, apricot pits, mango, ginger & a nettles. Intriguing. Medium-bodied with a touch of all that going on, but a kind of ripe mango/peachiness at its core. Vestige of chalky, dusty tannin there as juicy appley acidity carries to a finish that isn't long but is fresh and keeps the intrigue going. Moreish — 8 years ago
A new one to me, and I loved it. Not shy on sweetness but lovely fresh acidity, fresh apple & grapey fruit and a grapeskin texture with a very slight, pleasant lactic quality. Great drink. Slightly guessing vintage; forgot to record it. — 8 years ago
Delicious Grüner. Aromatic and juicy, with a clean, stony mineral water / grapefruit twist on the finish. Better at Chardonnay serving temp. — 8 years ago
Very good Brouilly. Not particularly detailed but lovely, fresh and direct. Cherry pie, graphite and dark chocolate (surprising, but there you go) note but then really pure, fleshy red cherry palate, really clean acidity and good length. — 8 years ago

Very good pure fruit - raspberry & red cherry flesh with earthy, volcanic mineral character. Juicy, smooth-flowing and open. — 8 years ago
