La Cala Vermentino di Sardegna

7 years since I last tried this wine. I must be getting old, I didn’t remember it at all. Still like it just as much as I apparently did in that review lol

Fresh Granny Smith apples on the cork, light and crisp with a fun acidic lift at the end. A bit of lemon zest. This wine is fantastic.

I find the bouquet faint and hard to detect, but the taste is wonderfully complex: white peach, grapefruit, orange zest, lemon, and mineral. Very enjoyable. This would probably pair great with ceviche.

Good. Much like a Pinot Grigio but better.

100% верментино. Легкий фруктово солоноватый тон в аромате, легкий рислинговый тон, свежо.

Pineapple and pear fruit, with plenty of citrus, ample acidity.

A perky little #Vermentino !

Delightful light and slight sweet white

Light straw color. Aromas of citrus, Granny Smith apples and orange blossoms. Very nice Italian wine.
