Dried cherries. Maybe fennel or dried herbs. Wet stones. Med+ tannins. Gorgeous.

No formals but classic cherry bowl nose and leather/earth palate.

Color of light purple, a bit cloudy, with some orange note on the rim. Nose of nice dried strawberry, spice, plum, aldehyde, sour cherry, crayon, and nose keeps coming. Taste of refined and solid tannins, black tea, almost dried and clean, ripe grapes, and dried strawberry. Aftertaste is medium long with more flavors similar to the tasting plus some peppery and bitter yet refreshing note. Nice.

Decanted for 4 hours. Impressive wine even though it’s young. High tannins and flavors that I would expect from a more aged Barolo: tar, leather, gravel. Great wine.

Muted ruby color in the glass with orange undertones. Austere as all hell, this is such a classic example of what a really nice Barolo can be at this age. Dried roses and cherries predominant on the nose. A beautiful contrast of elegance and rusticity runs through this. Very dry and still a little tight, it requires some heavy decanting to let her open up. Solid, dusty tannins and bright acidity. That good Italian leather shines on the palate, along with cherries, smoked tobacco, and herbs for days. Long finish of spice and menthol. Wonderful expression of Barolo.

Fantastic Barolo. needed an hour to open up but wonderful length and blast of fruit.. good for another 10years. loved it

Old school classic nebbiolo: dried cherry, potpourri and wet pavement. Perhaps a little short, but such lovely aromatics.
