Tart and acidic that paired perfectly with meats and cheeses.

Love this shit. Real wine. Love the 2010s from Piedmont. Awesome acid. Dried black & blue fruits, but red fruit nose. Especially 2nd day. Old school producer. Really, rating this wine is bullshit! It's just delicious and affordable and I wish I had more. Have no more cool 2010 from Piedmont that aren't 50quid a bottle.

Acid forward, tart cherries, raspberry, tea, dried herbs, touch of mushroom and oak. A little thin on the palate? From Flatiron Wines.

One of the best barberas I've ever had. Brambly red and black fruit with some beautiful dried herbs as well.

Kind of the perfect hump day wine. If you must drink Barbera, it's got to be d'Asti. Doesn't hurt if it's from Scarpa.
