I have no words. Friend bought from a yard sale for $8. Has now been open for three weeks in the fridge. Best condition wine I’ve ever had with this amount of age on it. Captivating. Unreal.

Tasted blind. Reddish tawny, thin and very old looking. Notes of brown sugar, molasses, some wood. Medicinal. In the mouth it’s different than what I expected. Tastes like Port, but looks and smells like Madeira. Someone guesses Vin Santo. But based on the taste I go with old Port.

Just a baby. Wound very tight, so much potential. Opened a decade or two early, unless your into that rip your face off Vintage Port in their youth style.

Rich fruit and plum skin flavors, walnuts and earth notes. Amazing range of flavor for a 50-year old wine. Really tasty!

Spice, vanilla bean, dried Turkish fig, orange peel. Tannins are still firm, rs is low.

Nice pale orange color, light salty nose, very elegant, a wine focused and precise, spicy character, dried citrus and floral notes - a nice aged vintage in magnum 😃 #PortWineDay #winelover

This has always been a stand-out wine, considering its modest price tag. Even though it was sexier and more extrovert when young, its mellowed maturity fits nicely too. Dried fig paste and aft spices lifts the finish.

A bit lighter than the 83's. This opens up nicely after about 30 mins of air. Very nice.
