Its a red blend from oakville, on nose its vanilla, coconuts, sweet honey, red fruits. On palate, its so elegant, silky, it got good body and structure. Its still too young, i think in the next 5-7 years of cellaring, everything will come good together. Bordeaux style carbenet blend. Good wine,, cheers everybody!

Very closed on opening, needs a lot more time for tannins and the fruit to resolve.

This is fantastic. So well balanced and not what I thought it would at all. Much more savory herbs and graphite than I was expecting. The fruit almost supports the rock and spice blend. Good tart berries. The finish is long and dry and lovely. I’d say this lives up to hype and scores.

It’s great to see the historic and influential Robert Mondavi Winery return to excellence. Napa Bordeaux blend with 85% #cabernetsauvignon 6% #cabernetfranc 6% #petitverdot 2% #malbec 1% #merlot. This wine shines with generous decanting. Elegant, memorable ripe bramble fruit and black plum, sweet baking spices on the nose. Juicy tartness underlays a bold wave of fruit on the palate with silken tannins on the finish. I definitely plan on laying down my other bottle for at least half a decade. #oakville
