Vintage 2015 / 74% zinfandel 16% petit shiraz 8% carignan 2% matador = mourvedre. Dark colour with cardinalred rim. A beneficent and seductive smell. Lots of cedar, marzipan, chocolate, spicyness too. Velvety in the mouth but with much power beneath. #ridge #zinfandel #sonomacounty Paired with beef tenderloin salsify and mushrooms.

I have been saving this 2013 as it is one of my favorite Ridge wines. Complex, deep color and earthy rich taste.

Classic Ridge. Drinking nicely after decant and time in the glass. Zinfandel and Petite Syrah blend. Will wait a couple more years before opening the next one. This wine shows bright red fruit, medium body, and is nicely balanced. i see this one getting better with more bottle age. Excellent QPR. Paired perfectly with homemade wagyu burgers.
