Sadly 2015 is the last of these by Rhys - and sadder still, they all sold out in the blink of an eye.
Smooth, berry, strawberry, dried chery, lead pencil, slight rock, minimum tannin. 14.25 ABV. Yeah, I've always pretty much loved these Alesa's. 2006.

so Rhône-like with smoked meat and herbs, licorice. A big but balanced wine. Delicious. Throwing a lot of sediment. Very good.

This is a superb Syrah. Impeccable balance and finesse with great ripe red fruit and cinnamon, second and last bottle both were exceptional.
