My type of woman. This is great. Tremendous aromatics and silkiness, a bit unconventional with some darker notes but with a lot of orange peel. — 10 years ago
Tasty. Great richness in color and balance. A bit bigger than before but well structured and delicious. Front runner for my favorite rose of the year. — 10 years ago
Cooked fruit, stewed plum, over ripe and aging fast. Hard to believe it's so off. — 10 years ago
Truly enchanting and so nice to be surprised at how well and youthful its held up. It is classic Pinot. Light, crisp, aromatic, and layered. Showing a bit of everything, one of the best I've had all year. Yet it's aging. Superb for now, drink up. — 10 years ago
A bit nervy at first with a citrus undertone dominating the palette. I prefer the 2012 Los Alamos but this one has a taught which makes this one very versitle. A very clean and crisp wine which will go a long way. — 10 years ago
Outstanding, one of the best whites I've ever had. It is so enchanting and perfect. It is golden, more like a fortified wine, yet it has fruit, balance, acidity. — 10 years ago
Better than expected, lush and bigger than I thought. Delicious in balance and a great value. Always nice to see Steve live up to the hype. — 10 years ago
Close to perfect for a big paso wine. This is what big, juicy reds that melts in your mouth, not in your hand are all about. Incredible nose with eucalyptus, mint oil and black fruits. On the palette a deep luscious profile that keeps on giving. Blackberry, oak and spices galore. Exceptional in its style. — 10 years ago

Drank side by side with the 2010 Scallop Shelf and this one is certainly the masculine one. Dark fruit, earthy with abundant dry herbs, brush and a big, round profile. Not your average Pinot. — 9 years ago
