Inky black and highly extracted. Blackberry, licorice and mocha ooze from the glass. Layer upon layer of black fruit, garigue spices, penetrating minerality stitched together with piercing acidity. The ripe, juicy, thick fruit laden with a glycerin like weight hammer home an inexplicably long finish. #pasorobles #grenache #wine #wineporn

Close to perfect for a big paso wine. This is what big, juicy reds that melts in your mouth, not in your hand are all about. Incredible nose with eucalyptus, mint oil and black fruits. On the palette a deep luscious profile that keeps on giving. Blackberry, oak and spices galore. Exceptional in its style.

Very young. Has a big potential but needs time to settle alcohol levels.

2011 Vintage. 16.4% alcohol. Oh yeah baby! Licorice and big fruit. Long finish. Loved it. 84% Grenache with 15% Syrah. No 2011 funk here. Yum.

Has become so much more integrated with time and develops nicely over an evening. Ripe extracted but Syrah balances out grenache dominant blend.

Thanksgiving Day 2016! WOW this is pure power... BIG! Awesome color in the glass. Drinking very nicely after 2-3 hours from opening.

Lighter on its feet than I expected for such a young wine. Very enjoyable.
