Red Newt Cellars
Dry Finger Lakes Riesling
Interesting nose has pungent, earthy apple and loads of dark slate-like minerality. Ripe and mouthfilling, but dry, this wine has loads of dark apple/apricot fruit and very savory minerality, particularly as the finish goes on.

May 12th, 2022Deeper gold hue and petrol notes for a relatively younger Riesling. Not enough acid to lift up the heavier finish. Yellow apple, lime zest, lanolin.

Mar 21st, 2021Missing some of the classic “gasoline” notes I love and is fairly straightforward, but still solid with stone fruits, nice length, and good minerality.
