Love these Portuguese wines! 2011 was an amazing vintage and this wine does not disappoint! Lush Black fruit, clove, fennel, and charcoal. Highly recommend.

Deep brick red wine, garnet rim, big bright cherry on the nose, big blackberry, blueberry, wet earth, slate, spice, black pepper on the palate.. huge, high tannin. Very interesting. Medium acid, big full body, very complex, intellectual wine. Mushroom on the palate. No evidence of oak.

Suuuuuuper dry, slightly smoky, dark plums. A little woody, too. Really quite excellent.

Still young on the nose, red ripe fruits, wood a bit too present, full bodie wine but with a lack of acidity that gives a heavy feeling at the end
