Huge room-filling nose way beyond cherry and into Zin tuttifrutti territory with hints of leather and new oak. Oak all over the palate and slightly out of control tannins, plenty of acid. Structure overwhelms the fruit a bit.

Very dry Chianti. Evaporating off my tongue. Light and almost a sour-berry taste at the end. I like this better than @Greggy Poo tonight - he got ousted from Winefest.

It does smell a bit like standing in the piss at a urinal in a British pub. Luckily the taste offers an earthy and rather lovely mix of tomato and sour raspberries.
