Ruby with aromas of berries, floral and herb notes. Grapes sourced from vineyards across the Willamette Valley, on the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with notes of currants, pepper spice, mushroom and earthy oak notes. Aged for 10 months on French oak (20% new), fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Very nice.

Good entry level from Ponzi. A bit hot at 13.8% with 11 months in 20% new French oak. Earth and umami but with ripe concentration and cinnamon/vanilla oak spice. Leaning towards jammy.
