Really drinkable and rich champ that leans heavily towards the fruit and cream. Golden baked apples, and some pie crust. Good citrus vibes and really nice small, but filling, bubbles. It’s a little less than some other N/Vs but definitely not lagging in its weight class.

Bright gold with fine persistent bubbles. Ripe yellow apple and toasted brioche on the abundant nose. Complex palate is medium in body and echoes the nose adding citrus rind, birch ash, and white pepper. Taut, bubble-enhanced acidity, of course. Hard to beat this as an everyday NV. Holds its own as a special occasion bubbly, too. Drink it when you buy it (as if you were going to do otherwise).

Bright gold with fine bubbles and rich white mousse. Baked apples and toasty brioche on the inviting nose. Palate is rich and echoes the nose adding citrus rind and a hint of flint. Finish is moderate in length but powerful and layered. Kinda hard to beat this at a standard NV price point. Unbeatable for forty bucks! Drink it when you buy it with pork loin, white flesh fish, or New Year’s Eve!

It’s good champers, what else to say? Well plenty—I like a rich bubbly. The bready notes take a back seat to fruit n cream, and there is an interesting bit of...well when I first smelled it I thought...”Ricola”? Something herbal and sure to soothe the throat.

NV | Solid choice. Apples. Its primarily quality is a very refined acidity. Nice start of my Sunday with scrambled eggs.

Bright beige straw. Abundant toasty nose of baked apple dumpling. Fine persistent bubbles — even in a small pour — with a firm white mousse. Complex, full-bodied palate of baked apples, toasted biscuits (American), and a hint of florality (yeah, I know). Brightest acidity (naturally) tempered by the toast. My favorite Champagne house never fails to satisfy. Big, rich, and complex, it will continue to be my go-to all-around NV brut. Enjoy with any “white wine” dish or even some lighter red wine fare (filet mignon with Bordelaise would be great).

Kindly gifted media sample which we enjoyed this sunday arvo with some fresh Tassie oysters 😋

This bottle is to celebrate the art-inspired ‘World Collection’ series for 2022 and we’re travelling to Tibet!

The mesmerising ‘MANDALA’ collection limited edition gift boxes are absolutely stunning don’t you think?

But not only that, the pattern is also a powerful symbol of universal unity often used in meditation to help visual ‘the perfect self’ 🥰

Pommery is a classic, deliciously elegant champagne. This Brut NV is a pale gold with a persistent stream of milky way bubbles. Aromas of brioche, strawberry jam, citrus rind and herbs. Smooth mousse, vibrant acidity, decent finish. Yum!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy.
