2000-expressive aromas include distinct floral notes, spiced fruit and a touch of earth. Lovely texture, fullish with fine tannins. #delicious with classic Nebbiolo fruit, spice, earth and only a hint of alcohol. Very long. With proper cellaring, may improve for 5+ years.

Red cherry, dried prune, dried raspberry. Dried roses, cherry cola, nepitella (sp?), eucalyptus, damp pine, decaying mushroom, forest floor, nice integrated tannins and acid.

Medium ruby garnet , quite narrow terracotta rim . Quite aromatic , sous bois , dried rose , some spice , truffle . On the palate this is lean in style , with some dried rose , red fruits , liquorice and mint . Quite dry , gritty tannin , balanced acidity . Medium length , liquorice, dried rose finish . Drinking well now and over the next 5-8 years .

Quite rich and generous , firm gritty tannins , touch of alcohol warmth noticeable . Good balanced acidity . Showing pretty young still , s bit rustic in style , showing the warmth of the vintage . Needs a bit more time , better in 3–5 years and will last well a further 5-8

Just opened. This s going to be outstanding. More life and vibrancy than many 85s I’ve had.
