Fantastic. Juicy and clean. Super aromas. The Petit Verdot comes through. Hoisin, incense and mineral. Floral. A profound nose. So elegant and juicy. Clean as a whistle with that Tuscan freshness and slight rusticity. A brilliant wine.

Tuscany its its essence, a Cabernet Franc dominated wine at this level is unique in the world of wine. Driven by elegance throughout a long and elegant finish that combines the features of being refined with a pronounced density and long silencing finish.

More elegant than ‘13 and while providing less power and structure, there’s lot to like here.

Very impressed with this. The nose is jam compote and boysenberry.
The palette is linear, pristine and pure. The tannins are hand-polished by little cellar bitches. You would never know that this is majorly merlot (60%) and cab franc (20%). There's a dollop of petit verdot which brings lift and brightness to the experience. Finish keeps pumping. Needs another 5 years in the bottle, but showing beautifully now.
Such an extravagant evening of tastings!

From magnum. The velvety tannins are to die for here, and while rich and concentrated, it also provides sincerity and elegance. Ripe red berries, pan fried herbs, Madagascar vanilla and blackberries are framed by juicy acidity and tannins; but not just any tannins... the silkiest tannins ever invented? Glorious.

Positively evolved and complex flavors with spice and herbaceous additions. More classic compared to recent vintages.

2009 from magnum; released in 2016. I was floored here... Great presence of spicy red fruits, velvety tannins and a fleshy yet bone dry but still expansive palate, allowing elements to shine on the chalky finish. Impressive to say the least!
