Les Cailloux Rully Chardonnay

Mild lemon, crushed shells, almond oil, minerals.

Some wood as this is PYCM. Nice core of mineral under there, expansive and even some flowers. Flint as well. Palate is leaner, closed and a bit more large scaled than last time I had it. Dense. Needs air.

Young and as yet unintegrated but thoroughly enjoyable. Big toasty new oak overtones that soften with air into a more nuanced wine.

Super tasty- surprisingly very buttery yet lean.

Crisp acidity and an almost butterscotch finish.

A bit dull from what I remember..

Stylish, while remaining true to its origins; it tastes like the Maconnaise rather than the Côte d'Or. Delightful.
