Museum Reserve The Contours Riesling

I love aged riesling so much 🥰 This was still very peachy. Very dry. Petrol starting to poke through. Apricots too.

Celebrating tonight. Full bodied. White flowers. Limey. Petrol. In a great place. Spectacular with well fleet oysters and a spicy mignonette. Voted VP in ‘08, P in ‘20. 🙌🏼

I don't drink these wines enough

Petrol City! Racy and firm acids with boatloads of lemon lime fruit and peel. Truly Australian style. Wonderfully complex. Give me scallops.

Still showing great nerve and solid fruit, centred around lemons and ripe, green apples and a positive, herbaceousness. It just falls short on the back palate where bitter, grapefruit rind flavors emerge.

Fresh yet rich with many years ahead, only just starting to show some aged characteristics

For Prawns with a salty sea breeze with a orange setting sun. Cracking and purity beyond the 07. Still showing youth and varietal yet rich mouth.

2008. Much richer than tee same vintage of Wigan. Less taut and severe and possibly too easy to drink.
