Magnum purchased at the winery. Rested 9 weeks at home. Stunning balance for an ultra hot vintage. While showcased by the crystalline quartzite (sea stone personality in an area of thin slate) the wine is still driven by the pure harmony of tartaric acid, European delicacy of yellow apple, pear, quince, hay flavors and the light kiss of Czechian oak. In pure harmony - nothing aggressive. Sophisticated yet anyone would recognize its brilliance

Excellent, sharp acidity but nevertheless balanced; spices, flower and petrol notes on the nose.

Ending the day with this. Maybe not the best vintage for this quality of Riesling.

After the First sip I thought someone used a salt shaker ob my tongue. The acidity is tremendously animating, long mouthwatering finish. So good!

German Riesling with a medium yellow hue. On the nose it is fresh with wet stone, a mineral scent, green apple and heavy citrus scents. The mouthfeel is abundant with deep citrus flavors of lemon, lime, tart pear, Granny Smith apple, and some tertiary white peach flavors as well. This wine has a medium plus body, high acidity, and it is bone dry. At four years old, the acidity’s liveliness is impressive, and on its own it may be a bit overwhelming. However, if paired with pork or other rich-in-fat foods this is will shine right through and steal the show. Be wise; I paired with Texas Style Brisket and pork baby back ribs, what can I say, a new classic for me. Cheers.
