Central Otago Sauvignon Blanc

A nice change from the usual Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Does NOT taste like Marlborough SB. Ripe, tropical fruit; Minerality and lower acidity.

Super citrusy, gooseberry and crisp white. Beautiful summer wine.

clear, green, fresh, fruit notes, floral, slight acid, high grapefruit, slight slight tannin...Very slight

A nice cool climate SB. Plenty of grapefruit and passion fruit along with wet stone. Fruit is very tart. Nice balance between acid and fruit.

Can't remember what this wine tasted like, but when we landed the helicopter on a knoll high atop lake wakatipu and hiked out to the edge, it was as good as sauv blanc gets.
