I really like Cabernet Francs, probably more than most people. Yes, they can be a bit thin and the complexity isn't always there...but there is something about their weird, earthy funkiness that I enjoy. This is a pretty good example of North Fork wine.

Mar 14th, 2016The often-sharp edges of a younger Cabernet Franc have been softened by time, and yet, this wine still has solid structure. Smooth and delicious. It was INCREDIBLE with a salt-and-pepper crusted, grilled ribeye steak, roasted fingerling potatoes, and broccoli with garlic and slivered Serrano chilies.
