Tokaji from Hungary from 2003, 12,5%. Excellent color, bright and intense. The nose reminds of a Sauternes, but a bit more volatile. Very good in the mouth.

My only problem was that my pallate was tired with this one, but it felt light in a positive way (the sugar was very well balanced with the acidity) and quite complex. Never disappointed me, like any Vega Sicilia wine

Rather one dimensional in its sweetness. Lacks some acidity to back it up.

I loved this. Not nearly as sweet as a 5 Puttonyos. Nice balancing acidity.

Sept. 2022. Light to medium gold. Love the clean botrytis on nose. It makes palate lightly bitter which indicates still room for improvement. Balanced sweetness. Modern style of tokaj. Went well with pan fried sweet plaintains.
