A riper nose. Almost sangiovese-like at first. A pretty palate. Quite delicate rose, cherry and pure fruit. Good.

Had it August 2008.
Cherries preserved in alcohol, rose, face powder, lipstick, aromatic herbs, balsamic, good tannin. Soft and long. Not unforgettable though

Classic traditional Vigna Rionda (according to Dario and Alessandro at Roscioli) with obvious but integrated herbal notes. Excellent overall balance and good length. The first of 6 awesome Barolos!
