Cherries preserved in alcohol, rose, face powder, lipstick, aromatic herbs, balsamic, good tannin. Soft and long. Not unforgettable though

Classic traditional Vigna Rionda (according to Dario and Alessandro at Roscioli) with obvious but integrated herbal notes. Excellent overall balance and good length. The first of 6 awesome Barolos!

Rionda. If you want to grow Nebbiolo, Rionda is a great place to do it. Very young still. Hint muted on nose. Still primary. Rosy, ferrous, spicy, bright acid. I'd love to see this in 10-15 years.
