On the palate there is black cherry, blackberry, green bell pepper, black currant, spice, pencil shavings and fresh dark earth.

This wine is medium to full bodied with medium to medium + acidity and medium+ fine tannins that easily move into a long black fruit and earthy finish. What a chilly day we are having today and this wine hits the spot. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend? Please stay healthy and safe and enjoy the day. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Blend of 33% Cab Sauv, 20% Cab Franc, 19% Merlot, 17% Malbec and 11% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby with aromas of ripe red fruits and earthy herb notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and fig with baking spices and dried herbs. Savory character, fine chalky tannins, medium finish ending with fruit and pronounced earthy notes.

Vintage 2014 / This wine has Bordeaux characteristics: laurel, pencilshaving, red fruit, but is also has tastes ‘hot’ why tasting blind you should not place it there. Good wine to fool people with.

Everything, including the kitchen sink in this blend. Comes out a bit disjointed, but the dusty can and the brambly dark fruit make it worthwhile.

This wine begins with dark cocoa, roasted pepper, and pine. a bouquet of charcoal , myrrh and kindling incense sticks flicker with flint at the nose - smooth river rock & warm silver nickel nap on the tongue blanketing the edge of any tannins. Sweet candied yams with cinnamon, butter, and cherries begin to bake & marinate the headspace of the glass an hour in. An amazing blend of flavors this onyx purple gem should be experienced first hand.

Finally a South African wine that I really enjoyed. Black plum, currant, anise, bell pepper, vanilla, cinnamon and cardamom aromas working nicely together with enough acid to balance the grippy tannins.
