As you peek your nose into the glass a melange of butter scorched strawberry, passion fruit, papaya, banana mango, and warm oak ~ smokes sun gold kiwi and lemon soaked peach skins. These flavors create a thick knit basket weave of aromas and sensations your tongue must unravel one by one. The body is as smooth as licking fresh orange slices dipped in crushed tart powder. A fit and lean steen with a strong finish and tannic wink as it bids you adieu. — 10 years ago

Alcohol glazed ice yellow acetate slice and splinters a pineapple bouquet the moment your nose dips into the dense headspace of the glass. It pinches your nostrils and waters the tongue in preparation for what can only be described as a saline smooth crisp apricot honey suckle pear flavor.

A perfect balance of melon and berry flavors that juggle sweet and dry textures on buttered grape skins served on a slab of fresh oak.

Oolong tea leaves, steamed rice and apple pie crust cook line the empty body space of the glass once it is empty.

Supple oak and succulent grape warms the headspace of the glass as baked buttered dinner rolls rise and fall at each whiff.

Cool and medium bodied on the tongue this Cab was a neat and simple fellow ~ a Mr. Rogers of sorts that has short soft spoken tannin sentences - dresses in a dark burgundy purple cardigan - is not overly showy or thought provoking, but a tad on the plain and ordinary side.

This is a CS nice to have as company amongst other friends. Has the poise and structure of an upstanding citizen that plays by the rules with a steady 9-5 ~

Some wines seduce you into a space that reveals secrets and images of grandeur and others are simply put…

Pleasant.

Dark cherry, dates and raisins, rich flavors of vanilla, dark chocolate and toffee. Lemon peel and clove with a hint of ginger. Rich sherry red color and aromas of spiced rye - tasting at Raise the Macallan event. Lovely evening. — 10 years ago

Summer baked beans and rice milk seep from toasted oak, like dense rich caramel syrup. Buttery white and sun dried black tea leaves fall at the back and stretch to the middle of your tongue leaving hints of dragon fruit, wet rooibos herbs, and roasted coffee . A touch of bitter dry plum seed wrinkles the tongue shortly only to give way to refined banana and sugar cane laced rainwater.
Cereal milk and warm beer wort soak dried oats and caramelized pecan droplets. The sweet sweat of miso infused pork belly glycerin skips from the back of your throat to the white of your teeth - vaporizing into peach and whip cream Belgian waffles with a touch of bourbon vanilla and fresh strawberry slices that have been soaked in watermelon juice.

Reminiscent of lush conch shell operculum this faint day glow peach color emits fluorescent sunburst rays from the glass. Sourwood honey, plum, peach, and rich watermelon perfume this light quartz apricot rosé. Textured by the coolness of Atlantic winds and Virgin Island water you would think the taste would mirror all of the above… it pales in comparison. It's dry and super silky with just a drop of honey dew water on the middle of the tongue at each sip. A tenacious wine that washes upon your senses like sweet tart coral but leaves you marooned and a bit dismayed. Wanting something more. I had the Rosé table wine '14 - the app has yet to add that as an option. — 10 years ago

This wine begins with dark cocoa, roasted pepper, and pine. a bouquet of charcoal , myrrh and kindling incense sticks flicker with flint at the nose - smooth river rock & warm silver nickel nap on the tongue blanketing the edge of any tannins. Sweet candied yams with cinnamon, butter, and cherries begin to bake & marinate the headspace of the glass an hour in. An amazing blend of flavors this onyx purple gem should be experienced first hand. — 10 years ago

This white wine has a pale cellophane yellow color and smell ~ mixed with robust hints of fresh cut grass, green lime, and a blend of white & pomelo grapefruit.

Sun filled green & yellow grape juice bubbles ~ burst out of each sip gliding along on the long straight of your tongue.

At the end of their glide, young wobbly tannins waddle across salivary glands with a guiltless bop that freshens and revitalizes you to want more. A straightforward and uncomplicated wine with energy and spunk.
